Kate McDonald Bridal Thoreau Gown

With a relatively low V neck style and all illusion lace back and sleeves, the Thoreau gown is a bridal vision. But with the beautiful Caroline in the dress, the look was complete. The tulle skirt and shape of the dress fits both a trendy and modern style. Perfect for brides of the day.

 

 

Caroline was such a sweet bride! And working with her was such a pleasure! It is definitely working with brides like her, that make our job so amazing.

 

Getting Ready

Caroline chose the Pink Dot Beauty Bar for all her makeup and hair needs. We love that these ladies are an all natural cosmetics and skincare boutique here in Charleston!

 

 

One of our favorite features of the Thoreau gown are the bridal buttons going up the back. This gives the dress a seamless look that is demure, elegant, and feminine.

 

 

Caroline’s bridesmaids are in our Kate McDonald Maids Monroe dresses in Thistle Crepe de Chine fabric. Flowy, slightly whimsical, and very easy to wear, the Monroe dress was perfect for this charming wedding.

 

 

How great are these fur boleros Caroline had for her bridesmaids? They are a perfect addition to our Monroe dresses and add that needed bit of warmth!

 

First Looks

These images gave us the biggest smiles! The whole bridal party looked they all had so much fun starting off the special day with pictures before the ceremony.

 

 

Ceremony

Set inside of a stunning church, the black tie attire and grand ceilings all fit together and created a very ceremonial space.

 

 

Reception

Enter the gorgeous newlywed couple, and let’s party! Loved seeing these two dance the night away with all their family and friends.
