Pretty Pollitzer Gown Mesmerizes In Oceanside Sunrise Shoot
A little while ago, we shared a few images from an inspiration shoot with our Pollitzer gown featured on Style Me Pretty. We are still oohing and ahhing over the images from Rachel Buckley Weddings and had to share more of this incredible shoot with you.
OUR POLLITZER GOWN
One of the things that makes this dress so dreamy are the different components. The open back, the illusion lace, the pale blue color of the tulle skirt, all of them come together to make such a unique dress. Pollitzer brings some of today’s trends and combines them with a timeless feel. A high neck brings elegance and grace. The opening of the tulle in the front brings interest and a modernity. We could go on and on, but we’ll let you take a visual experience with this beauty below.
The Inspiration Behind The Shoot:
“The inspiration for this shoot came from a story between two lovers, Ake and Paolina. Ake was a Swedish fisherman desperate to find love. He wrote his wish of finding his true love, sealed the note in a bottle, and tossed it out to sea. Two years later the bottle washed ashore along the coast of Siciliy where another fisherman found the message in a bottle and gave it to his daughter, Paolina. Over the next five years, Ake and Paolina exchanged letters, this time through the mail, until they eventually met, wed and lived happily ever after.” – Leander Matos Weddings
Rachel Buckley captured this sunrise beautifully and we are, simply put, awestruck. Beside the ocean, planner and stylist, Leander Matos Weddings added salt weathered bottles and dusty blue stationery by El’s Cards to bring in more details and to create an old world feel. Truly romantic, this shoot also came to life for us in florals as well. The floral design from Flower Kiosk is unbelievable. The oversized bouquet full of greenery and mismatched blooms was to us, the perfect addition to the bride’s style.
We definitely invite you to take a look at all the many details up on Style Me Pretty in this post here.
