Modern Unique Bride For Kate McDonald Bridal Editorial
MODERN. UNIQUE. ROMANTIC.
Taking inspirations from yesterday and today, the new Kate McDonald Bridal collection is definitely for the modern unique bride. There’s something so graceful and full of light, and we love how photographer Perry Vaile is able to capture this so elegantly. You can see more of the new editorial shoot here. The Brooklyn gown, McCants, our Essex Top, Ellis Top, and our favorite Tulle Skirt are a vision in this shoot and we are extremely thankful to have such wonderful talents help us share the designs with you! Ashley Brook Perryman kept the hair and makeup natural and romantic while still keeping it all up to date. And how amazing is this venue! Middleton Place is like walking through a fairytale, and one we definitely don’t want to leave! Many thanks also to FlowerShop in Charleston for these dried flower crowns as the perfect finishing touch.
We hope you enjoy these extra features of the 2016 Kate McDonald Bridal Editorial as much as we do!
The Essex Top and Tulle Skirt combine both trend and modernity with classic elements that show off the feminine features of a bride. We also love that you can wear the top again for a special occasion.
The Brooklyn gown has illusion lace that lightly buttons up half way up the back and gives a bride that modern unique feel to the gown when the lace becomes more of a overlay that flows open in front. The lace will trail behind you and dance while you walk and of course, dance yourself. You can see a styled post on Brooklyn here.
Our McCants is a classic piece for us, but has all the qualities a modern unique bride would love. A deep V with wide wrapped waist into a full skirt, and pair it with our lace Ellis Top to change up the look. Wear the lace for your ceremony and take it off for the reception. It’s a modern gown but a style that is timeless. You’ll be looking back at your wedding photos 30 years from now and so happy looking back on it.
